Fender Custom Shop 52 Telecaster Heavy Relic Taos Turquoise
You love 50s telecasters but you're not a fan of maple fretboards? We've got you covered!
Light as a feather, bold as a bluesman's attitude. Telecaster is always the do-it-all machine, whether you throw it into funk, blues or heavy rock. This one has it's roots in 52 Telecaster (body, headstock, neck), and a 51 Nocaster (bridge pickup and a bridge itself). One thing uncommon for early 50s Telecasters is the rosewood fretboard, with deep dark colour, as well as the neck profile - a 59 specific Large C.
The neck feel like home, slightly worn, satin back and a larger profile will attract those who love vintage but not only - even if you like modern C, you should give it a try.
Soundwise, it's a brilliant Tele - warm, punchy neck, middle quack and a twangy bridge. You've heard it many times on multiple records: you can think of Bruce Springsteen or Radiohead.
And hey - with that color combination and a tasty relic job, it's guaranteed you will be seen on stage and it's gonna make a true gem in your collection.
