Xotic XSC-2 Daphne Blue Heavy Aged, Mastergrade maple

There are stratocasters and there are superstrats. Then, above it all - there is Xotic. A company that is not a newbie to the guitar world and we know them primarly from making outstanding stompboxes (such as BB Preamp, SL Drive or RC Booster), but they are also storming the boutique guitar world with their top class axes. 

XSC-2 is a modern classic. While alder body and maple neck might seem  like a standard combination, the flame in the neck is out of this world. Not only looks, but feels great - the satin finish and super comfortable modern C profile give you the pleasure when playing. Very resonant, comfortable axe with a lot of punch and clarity. Easily on par with Fender Custom Shop guitars.

Finish of the guitar is heavy aged, which means it has a heavy relic worn in many spots as well as the ageing in the hardware. It's still tasty, however it will not appeal to those who like flawless finishes.

The high point of this guitar is the Raw Vintage hardware. Pickups give the definition you'd expect from Xotic devices, the saddles are used by best in the market (James Tyler puts Raw Vintage saddles in his guitars). Paired up with Gotoh tuners and bridge it just works.
