Tom Anderson Classic S Sunburst 2001
On the outside, it might seem like yet another S-style guitar. Boy oh boy, can it still surprise you? Yes, it can!
Tom Anderson can turn even such a classic guitar into a powerful device able to deliver in a variety of situations from 80s L.A. clean sounds, funky comps, crunchy riffs to saturated lead lines. Sustains for days, laying a solid base for tonal arrays it's able to deliver.
Pickups are paramount to modern Stratocaster sounds. While retaining the character and roundness of the strat, they deliver a lot of tight midrange beloved by rock players. Once you throw in some overdrive and put that bridge pickup into work, you will be playing Iron Maiden riffs in less than 2 seconds (to midnight).
It features a standard 5-way switch and a bit more! Equipped with push-pull to add the bridge pickup and an amazing Vintage Voicing passive circuit transforming the guitar according to your needs.
The guitar is quite light and has a rather thin, comfortable neck with a compound radius and heavy frets. Manually, it's very easy to play. Buzz Feiten tuning system makes sure the guitar stays in tune in every position.
