Matchless DC-30 early 2000s Black
If there's an amplifier that defined the sound of music in the 90s - Matchless C-30 would be it. DC version is the 2x12 combo, featuring two separate channels, master volume and half power option. It's an amplifier that has its roots from the Vox AC30 design but took it to another level. This one is made in early 2000s.
The sound of this amplifier can be describe with one word: GLORIOUS. In every setting, every volume level and with every guitar - it just sounds right. It's very loud and likes to open up a bit more but even in low volume setting you can hear each note bloom. Cleans are round, tight and punchy. The crunches bring out amazing structure and make you stand out in even the most demanding mix or live band situation. There's very little this amp can't do.
And by the way - the combo is very heavy. That's the cost of great transformers and good wood. So you better hit that gym today.
