Mit diesem Modell möchte James Tyler das 35-jährige Jubiläum der Studio Elite feiern. Die Studio Elite mit Jims Kopfplattendesign wurde 1987 offiziell eingeführt. In diesem Jahr widmete sich Jim fortan ausschließlich dem Gitarrenbau und stellte Modifikationen und Reparaturen ein. Somit feierte die Gitarre 2022 ihren 35. Geburtstag.
Um das gebührend zu feiern, schreit alles an dieser Gitarre förmlich: Kalifornien! Der Sound erinnert an die frühen Tyler-Modelle, die komplett aus Mamywo (Jelutong) gefertigt waren und über Lead-/Rhythmus-Schaltungen mit Midboost-Vorverstärkern verfügten. Gleichzeitig ist das Modell mit Stingray-500-Pickups und der neuen Notting-Coil-Schaltung ausgestattet, um es so modern wie möglich zu halten.
