Warmoth Stratocaster 2020 Midnight Blue
Even though technically it's a partscaster, it's a very special one, especially due to a spectacular solid wenge neck. The feeling and profile are amazing, and the looks are second to none.
The exotic neck is not the only special feature. We also have boutique hand-wound pickups (Ken Rose, USA made), stainless steel frets (Plek treated), and Hipshot tuners, all of which go with a lightweight body making for a resonant, highly-playable guitar.
The natural compression of the guitar is outstanding. It helps a lot when playing a Stratocaster-style guitar equipped with single-coil pickups. The sound is focused around the upper midrange with a very sweet top, somewhere in between the 50s and 60s sound (see the YouTube demo). The neck pickup is more round and full, the middle pickup is surprisingly crunchy and the bridge pickup brings a fat, lower midrange hotness. Very even sounds with a lot of clarity and great dynamic range.
Visually the guitar is in very good condition, with slight dulling and scratch marks on the body. Tuning keys were retrofitted and the holes where the screws for the tuners originally went are visible (purely aesthetic).
