James Tyler USA Black Classic 2009
The Black Classic has traditional body lines and a gloss black finish that sets the stage for a guitar that has all the right stuff. Carefully selected hardware plus the right combination of pickups, make this model sound as great as it looks. Comfortable to play from the very first note, the Black Classic embodies James Tyler Guitars' pursuit of tradition, innovation, and excellence.
This model is from 2009, with final check done by James Tyler himself (signature in the spec sheet). It is more classic style with vintage tuners and 6-point tremolo equipped with Raw Vintage saddles. Other than that it features all we love in Black Classic - great piece of light maple and rosewood (very dark with intense grain) used for neck and a solid piece od alder in the body. Piano black, high-gloss finish matches perfectly with red tortoise pickguard. Pickup colors match nicely with the overall aesthetics and form a piece of art.
Massive stratocaster sounds cutting through the mix in every position. Punchy and quacky when you need it with pleasant midrange roar in the bridge position. Has a dominant 3D sound characteristics with lots of structure and dynamics.
Visual condition is very good with minor scratches and dings without any actual damage to the paint. Neck back is mint, frets are slightly worn with no need of polishing. It's ready to rock.
