The Maybach Texonian T54 reproduces the build: sugar pine body, one-piece maple neck, hand-wired T-style circuit, single-ply pickguard, three-saddle bridge, real bone nut. Every component in this guitar exists because it was on the original 1954 blueprint – and every one has been chosen from the best contemporary source Maybach could find. The result is a guitar that sounds like a T-style should, not like a T-style pretends to.

The Sound

Sugar pine is louder and more open than alder or ash – it produces the specific snap and acoustic ring the earliest T-style guitars were built around. Combined with the Amber Twangtone single coils, you get bell-clear neck tones with a woody body underneath, and a bridge pickup that spits authentic country twang while staying musical under gain. The '50s neck profile fills your hand without being clubby; single notes ring, chords stay tight, and the guitar responds to your right hand as if it were the only thing that mattered.

Sugar pine body, one-piece bolt-on maple neck with a fat '50s C profile, 9.5" fingerboard radius, 21 medium-jumbo frets, real bone nut, three-saddle T-style bridge, Gotoh SDS-510 vintage-style tuners in aged nickel, hand-wired circuit with vintage-spec USA pots, 0.047 μF capacitor, 3-way switch. Nitrocellulose finish with light aging – authentic paint checking and wear over years, not just weeks. Comes with the deluxe Maybach hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.
