Handmade in the EU, weighing just 3.4 kg – well under the 4 kg ceiling Maybach imposes on every Lester, and light enough to play all night on a strap.

The Sound

The Amber Spirit of '59 humbuckers are the closest anyone in Europe currently gets to authentic late-'50s PAF territory: warm, dynamic, open, and touch-responsive. Roll the volume back and they clean up like an amp being pulled off the edge of breakup. Push a decent overdrive and they sing without turning to mud. The 60s Slim Taper neck sits slightly flatter than a '59 profile – fast, familiar, and comfortable for players who move around the neck a lot.

Two-piece mahogany body with a two-piece carved maple top, mahogany 60s Slim Taper neck with long-tenon set-neck construction, Indian rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid MOTO inlays, 12" radius, 22 Wagner medium-jumbo frets, real bone nut (42.8 mm), Gotoh SD-90 aged nickel tuners with Kluson-style tulip buttons, aluminum stop-tail, Tune-O-Matic bridge. Fully hand-wired with CTS TVT pots, Switchcraft 3-way toggle, and 0.022 μF capacitor. Nitrocellulose finish, aged, with cream binding on body and neck. Comes with the deluxe Maybach hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.
