Double cut design with a heel optimized for easy access to higher frets, a super comfortable neck that feels smooth as silk, two custom-made DiMarzio humbuckers voiced to elevate the tonal properties of this model, and a top-of-the-game vintage tremolo made by Ernie Ball. 5 combinations of pickups give fatness or funkiness depending on your needs.
It can rock, it can be funky, mellow, or bold. The semi-hollow version of Axis Super Sport was a limited run made by Ernie Ball Music Man, this guitar was made in 2016. It's in excellent condition with no damages, beautiful flamed maple top in honey burst pops up in the light. Frets were replaced with golden Jescar EVO in 2024.

The Axis Super Sport semi-hollow builds upon the familiar aspects of the solid body Axis Super Sport by adding 2 chambers on either side of the pickups and an attractive "M" sound hole on top. The tonewood/pickup combination is exact to the Axis and Super Sport models which is perfectly suited for hard edge rock tones but can also deliver a subtle dynamic voicing at lower volume levels. The result is a resonant and lighter guitar with smooth lows, airy highs, and a very responsive attack.
