This guitar contains a combination of unique features found in Strats of different eras. The body is made of very light, sorted alder. The neck is rift-sawn one-piece maple with an oval C profile (contrary to the modern C shape). The back of the neck is stripped of lacquer, making it great under the fingers and smooth with no friction. The fingerboard is a thick piece of dark rosewood, with a modern 12\" radius. The frets are nickel 6105s.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHardware is more vintage: 6-point tremolo and vintage tuners, they keep the guitar in tune perfectly. Pickups are a hand-wound combo of 69 (neck) \/ Fat 50 (middle) \/ Texas Special (bridge) and make the sound balanced, and dynamic with no sign of shrill. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTaking this instrument into your hands, you feel like holding something special.
